SAP ABAP Developer EAM / PM / PS / CS (m/f/d)
Are you well versed in SAP development and familiar with the PM, PS and CS modules, and ideally with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) as well? If so, we’re looking for you to join our team.
Your responsibilities
- Development and enhancement of SAP solutions using ABAP / ABAP Objects in both the classic and S/4HANA environments
- Technical implementation of requirements in the areas of Plant Maintenance (PM), Project System (PS), Customer Service (CS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- Design and development of modern applications using SAP Fiori (UI5) and OData services
- Development of service-based applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
- Creation and customisation of reports, interfaces, forms and extensions in line with the Clean Core approach
- Implementation of extensions via the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) (side-by-side extensions)
- Development of cloud-native applications using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) (Node.js / Java)
- Analysis and resolution of technical issues, as well as optimisation and modernisation of existing developments (e.g. code pushdown, CDS views)
- Close collaboration with business departments, consultants and agile project teams
What you bring to the role
- Fluent in German and English; knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage
- Substantial experience in SAP ABAP development (classic and, ideally, S/4HANA)
- Good knowledge of PM, PS, CS and/or EAM
- Expertise in enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, IDocs, BAPIs or RFC
- Initial or solid experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 and OData services
- Ideally, knowledge of the RAP model as well as CDS views and AMDP
- Interest in or experience with SAP BTP and CAP (cloud development)
- Understanding of modern SAP architectures (Clean Core, side-by-side extensions)
- A structured approach to work and a good understanding of end-to-end SAP processes

About Us
We are X-IT, a software service provider based in the Saarland – or, to be more precise, in the lovely town of Losheim am See. We are a team of just under 30 people and help companies to digitise their business processes or implement EU sustainability regulations. We believe it is important to take a holistic approach. We start with process consultancy and then support our clients along whichever path they choose. We take charge of project management and ensure the seamless integration of the appropriate software solution.

SAP S/4 Consultant (PM/CS/MM/QA/SD) (m/f/d)
Permanent position, full-time
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of business processes and requirements in the Project Management (PM), Customer Service (CS), Materials Management (MM), Quality Assurance (QA) and Sales modules (SD)
- Design, implementation and customisation of SAP S/4HANA solutions, taking specific customer requirements into account
- Delivering workshops, training sessions and presentations for customers and internal stakeholders
- Providing support with troubleshooting, optimisation and further development of existing SAP systems
- Working closely with business departments, IT and external service providers
What sets you apart:
- A degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Several years’ professional experience as an SAP consultant with expertise in the PM, CS, MM, QA and SD modules
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and experience in implementing SAP projects
- Good knowledge of process analysis and optimisation, as well as experience in designing and implementing solutions
- Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- SAP certification(s) would be an advantage
